This fee funds the platform’s physical transaction security, inspection orchestration, 6-digit handshake verification, anti-fraud telemetry, and the 100% instant refund guarantee if an item fails physical inspection.
On OwnAgain, sellers receive exactly 92.5% of the gross sale price upon successful physical handshake. The total seller-side deduction is strictly 7.5%, split into a 2.5% Seller Success & Service Fee and a 5.0% Marketplace Facilitation Commission. These fees are earned strictly upon successful physical handover and settlement—never beforehand. There are no hidden deductions.
